How do people have their death monitored?

I have seen a few threads where a member had their death monitored and logged for the site. How can I do that, particularly without increasing my risk of being found? Who can do that?

I would think (not a 100% sure) that they would be between members that had formed a friendship and that level of trust and discussed it privately etc

It's between members you befriend. The documented thread would be considered their word and the information provided is therefore "may not be accurate, personal experience as a passive viewer" type of thing.

There was a member who livestreamed his ctb by SN on twitch (he sent the links by private) and a friend of his stopped the video once we died.
Truth be told, it really helped to see how SN really works but watching someone die is not easy at all.
