I love the sudden reference to such a great game. To be honest, I think I prefer the DS version as it was the one from my childhood. I have fond memories of it...
Though the Wii and Wii U ones are also pretty good.

In my dreams sometimes i dont resist when im about to die. I just let it happen and end up waking up in a convulsion because my body doesnt know how to process the feeling of death

Its not that i dont care though, its more like i usually have some degree of lucidity but am just too lazy to try to control my dream

None of my dreams count as nightmares anymore because of this



now, knowing what i just described, could you tell me what level of fear i am at?

About 6 or 7 give or take. But seriously I can't know, all I can know is this post you've made and my own interpretation of it. And to frame fear as being levelled is, well just an arbitrary framing anyways. Fear is beautiful in that it cuts through all mentalisation when you finally come face to face with it.

What you described sounds interesting though, and very unpleasant, do the convulsions show up in other parts of your life or just in this situation? I can't relate to the lucidity but I sometimes have dreams where I get extremely frightened or enraged within them and wake up screaming and/or thrashing and punching, have had such experiences my whole life.

Also about the avatar, I screenshotted it when reading oyasumi punpun, nothings left such a mark on me than the manga she's from and her as a character, that's all really. I love her.

No tbe convulsions show up Only when i ignore death in my dream

Not that unpleadant i just vibrate enough to wake myself up

I i suspect its because my body cannot process what dieing feels like rather than fear

I couldn't understand what specific game you are referring to.
The DS one is pretty cool in that each final bowser castle at each world has a completely different boss, not the koopalings (the different themed bowsers, but they aren't on the DS version) but things like Petey Piranha, a Big Fish, Dry Bowser etc.
The Wii one has the Koopalings as final bosses of each world. The Wii U version is like that as well from what I remember.
