Very bad idea, in my opinion. As said, it's a very unconventional method and the chances of it succeeding are very low. I also imagine that SI would get in the way of a method like this.

You should browse the site more and see the other methods on here that might be a little harder to achieve, but far less painful and risky.

No its not. Please dont do that ): you are likely to only hurt yourself or give yourself permament brain damage which will seriously increase your suffering.

If you really are 100% sure that you want to die, and have thought it out well, then there are better methods.

Otherwise, there is always the road to recovery if you havent tried yet.

Well, some of us enjoy the gallows humor. And seeing threads like "should I ctb by chopping my head off with a butter knife?" or "how to ctb by overdosing on Nutella and Cheetos?" can be source of various reactions and emotions, including burnout, but also amusement.
This thread doesn't fit the forum at all, because "pro-choice" means "advocating for respecting choices people make for themselves", not "a place where somewhere will decide for you".

It doesn't seem like the op is asking others to decide for him, just soliciting opinions or feedback from which they can draw their own conclusion. And while I can see where some posts about death from Cheetos might be funny to some, the act of repeatedly bashing one's head until enough damage is done to lead to death is an extremely violent and damaging way to go. Even if the op is just describing an extreme form of self harm it really isn't funny and to laugh shows a lot of disrespect to the op who is likely desperate and in a lot of pain. In reaching out for help with this to get laughed at? In what way is that helpful?

Wouldn't recommend it, you'll just hurt yourself but are unlikely to die. It would be hard to inflict death on yourself in this manner imo. Could also cause traumatic brain injury which could jave debilitating effects.

This is called head thrashing. It is self harm, not a suicidal attempt. It will not kill you but it will objectively make your mental health worse. You cannot die by this method. Also for context, if you self harm more than 5 times in one year it becomes an addiction.
