Help have i grown soft or is my skin thicker?

I relapsed into cutting a short time ago and i've noticed that the cuts that previously used to bleed don't anymore. Has my pain tolerance gone down and i'm percieving it as the same level of depth? or could my skin actually have grown thicker? this is frustrating because i enjoy it when my cuts bleed.
