id like to talk about stuff in more detail, but i see all these people in the uk getting welfare checks and stuff .. i wondered if anyone from the us has experienced anything similar because of the website? just wanna know if there r any things i Shouldn't say ..

Lol that would mean the government 1) is capable of providing that kind of service and 2) concerned for the wellbeing of its citizens. Well for what it's worth the BPD tends to make me rush into things without fully considering the outcomes. So I might be a little too nonchalant myself about it.

I do feel as though they stigmatize it and restrict access so that we are forced to continue feeding the machine. Because a dead drone can't contribute.

People have had Police visits and had "non crime hate warnings" issued and recorded against them for posting online remarks about illegal immigrants and Trans women in female sports, however nothing as regards ctb.

There is nothing illegal, in the US or the UK, about vsiting this site. There is nothing illegal about making posts here - provided, of course, that the content of those posts is not itself illegal.

It depends on what you say.
For example, if you say you are going to ctb, and I say "I hope you find some peace", that is entirely legal.
On the other had, if you were to say "I wonder whether I should ctb" and I were to say "Yes, you should. Go do it", that would be illegal in most countries, perhaps in all.
If you follow the rules of the site - which you should re-read if you have forgotten them - what you post will be legal.

In terms of 2 lol no. Maybe it's true they just dont give a shit about anyone which I'd buy. But the USG absolutely empathetically doesn't give a shit about me. I have valid reasons for needing help in multiple domains and trust me they don't give a fuck. And I'm definitely white and cis. If either of those two things were different I would have gotten help.

But to answer ops question no the USG doesn't give a shit. As long as someone is bothered and put in a positon where their ass may be on the line and they have to cover it you are fine.

I'm new to posting but I have lurked for years. Never a peep from any government official or ISP notice for being on SS. Ofc you will hear from your ISP if you torrent something without a VPN; and the government here can send debt collectors out for your student loans while their websites where you handle that stuff are barely functional. I'm in the US and never been bothered. I'm not wealthy or politically valuable so while I think our federal government can find out absolutely anything they want about anyone, they ignore worthless little people like us.

I don't think anyone is really making out like bandits - maybe the 1% are. But I do think that in the current climate at least that group's right to exist, right to healthcare, to documentation that allows travel (ya know the basics) aren't being actively stripped away. So under that lens, I think those people are at least better off. But don't get me wrong - end of the day I don't think any one is winning.

Well I suppose I shouldn't have been vague like that. Trans healthcare is being gutted and it started with minors. Legally they have banned access to hormone therapy and are investigating manufacturers and doctors alike now. So, proven, life saving and changing medication, is now banned. Although it's not appendicitis, it's is an incredibly debilitating and just as severe condition.

And not an outright ban per se - but now passport and other documentation updates are also banned. I have a license and birth certificate that correctly state my gender but my passport, which was in process before all the crap, was confiscated and I was told they would not honor any changes nor issue one in the other gender because of the inconsistency with my state documents. This effectively has banned me from going outside the US

I live in the US and I have spoken about this website to therapists and Mental health providers Multiple times and it's never triggered a hospitalization incident Or led directly to concerns about my suicidality. However if someone asks you about Scales of suicide from one to ten or if you have a plan The conversation is very likely going to lead to a welfare check and or being evaluated for hospitalization.

If you absolutely need to talk to a therapist or mental health provider About issues you're dealing with Even if it's only just event and talk to someone about How suicidal you're feeling recently You can usually be pretty safe from evaluation as long as you deny having any sort of plan.

Didn't a federal judge block the Trump passport order? Also could your other documents be changed therefore you are in fact consistent?

In terms of trans Healthcare. To be honest I could have the conversation. But honestly I don't want to. That said the words "proven", "life saving" are literature wise wrong unless new robust studies have come out. The vast majority of the studies at least back when I was reviewing the literature also actively engaged in bad science to prove their hypothesis. By having low numbers, not being double blind, etc... Universities also simply won't hire people who are conservatives so well is already poisioned as it were. Most studies were also extremely difficult to conduct as the dropout/suicide rate were so high that studies couldn't be properly conducted. So results were difficult to interpret as well. The few good studies high n and proper protocols basically showed improvement for 5 years until 10 years when you were at or below your start point. Longitudinal studies are also uncommon even in this field. So the entire breadth isn't encapsulated. So proven no.

Also the difference between pediatrics and adults is also monumental and you are dealing with really two different things and two different conversations. Kids and adults are just really really different.
