hanging anchor point

for partial suspension hanging would you recommend using my (metal) shower rod or doorknob+thrown over door? I have concerns about both mostly them moving/breaking. noise isnt a huge concern since my ex should be at work.

small vent at the end here since i cant make separate post:
my ex keeps talking about all the people they have dates with and i literally can't wait for them to get off their lunch and get back to work. i need to ctb asap cuz i cant take this anymore.

If your shower rod is anything like mine, they don't take a lot of weight. Do you have a photo of what it's like? Maybe the doorknob is more sturdy.

I don't have a photo but I tested it a bit and its a bit wobbly so i think ur right. thank u!

I thought my curtain rail might be an option for an anchor point but it started to bend as soon as I put some weight on it with my arm... it's frustrating.

I will never understand why people go down the path of CTB and then make the most stupid choice possible. The shower rod wont hold your weight since its not designed for that. If it will hold you, it will only do that for a couple of minutes then it will most likely snap and you will end up with permanent brain damage. Don't do this to yourself.

i failed the hanging because the noose aka belt slipped from between the door and the frame, so... and now the doors are crooked

I mean this is serious stuff we're talking about here with horrifying consequences if the ctb isn't executed properly. Crude but to the point comments are a good thing imo

Could attempt to get a hotel or motel with handicap accessibility. These rooms have super stable rails meant to help the disabled get around and they shouldn't snap under your weight.

i dont and i dont have any money. i was already suicidal before but now its completely encompasses.

This is why I decided against partial suspension. Yeah full drop is more painful but it seems far more effective. I'm going to be testing my current anchor point shortly and if it seems too risky I'm using a tree in the woods
