I actually joked about this since it seems like such a bad method, but hear me out.
I remember looking this up a while back and it doesn't seem to be that horrible of a death, if you were to just walk into the woods (hard mode: do it at home) and not drink for some days (anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks depending on obvious and less obvious factors) it would technically get the job done. I am sure that a Buddhist monk could pull this off without it even being a negative experience for him. The actual pain might not be that bad if you can detach from the psychological suffering by simple mindfulness.
Pros
1. Free or at least relatively inexpensive.
2. Epic and badass.
3. Depending on circumstance, completely reversible without sustaining any damage (doctors on the forum please respond).
4. Not that bad if you can distract yourself/meditate after you get over the initial thirst, according to randos online.
Cons
1. Determination required for the duration of around ten days (for most ppl).
2. If you go back you may have lost your job or failed to do some other things that you would've wanted to do if you knew you were going to live. However if these things cause too much of a grievance you can always go out into the forest again

3. Too much meditation may lead you to start enjoying "just being alive" which will turn you away from suicide, smacking you back into the cycle of suffering until you're ready to try again.
4. Finding a way to be relatively comfy in the woods/fields/mountains/etc. Shelter? Heating? Something to do?
Whatchall think? Another one is dying of hypothermia whilst perhaps still covering genitals and maybe head to reduce suffering (combination with sleeping pills and/or alcohol?). Add your own less-discussed method and/or discuss dehydration/hypothermia as methods.
