Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

The pain was not the problem. I also put a scarf around my neck. The feeling of not being able to breathe is more than nauseating. How much time it took, I can not say two circle swings. Maybe 8 seconds.
The feeling of fainting I did not feel maybe something light in the head.
See, that's what I'm confused about... Some people say they pass out before suffocation because the arteries are compressed and the blood can't get to the brain. Other people, like you, say they suffocate. It must have to do with rope size or rope placement or something. I'd like to pass out quickly, that's what I'm hoping for.

Yeah I find that really confusing as well. I always thought the benefit of full suspension over trying partial was that it was guaranteed to press on the arteries and make you pass out. But now I'm not so sure

I know, it's crazy. I have heard a lot of stories where people said they tried it and passed out quickly. The only reason they survived was because they were found or the knot came loose. Most of those stories were on reddit and quora I think, although I've seen some here too including some in this thread. A couple things I heard through research are that, one, use a slipknot instead of a hangmans noose, it gets tighter and puts more pressure on the arteries and, two, take a deep breath before you do it so by the time you want some air, you might hopefully alreadybe passed out

So, when you did the hanging, did you pass out before the feeling of being unable to breath became a problem? How long did it take to pass out?...I'm sorry if I asked that already, I've been responding to a lot of people and I get confused

I pass out within 5 to 15 seconds, during that time I am not aware that I am not able to breath. So I pass out long before the feeling of being unable to breath became a problem.

That's good to hear, thanks. I really hope mine goes that way. I don't know why some people say they struggle to breath first. Like I said in my other comment, it must be rope placement or thickness or something.
I hear you, I'm also in chronic congition, so i do understand. I tried it but was so painful I couldn't continue.... If only we could access peaceful way but seems near on impossible to obtain sn or n or be accepted in Switzerland without diagnosis.
Sorry, but you didn't answer last time, so I'm gonna ask again (providing you're sill with us)... Painful how? Could you describe how it felt as fell as your set up? What size rope, how you survived, things like that. If I'm prying too much, let me know, I'm just trying to get as much info as I can and compare stories and set up so I can do it right
So 2 years ago I tried to hang myself via full suspension. I went down to the basement and grabbed a bucket and my bedsheet and begun to tie up a makeshift noose. I stood there for about 5 minutes until I decided to step off the ledge and as soon as I did I felt a pop in my neck and was in extreme discomfort and pain. I struggled at trying to pull myself up from the bedsheet from the pain and managed to get my foot up onto the bicycle pedal on the exercise bike and pull myself up to safety. I was only hanging for I'd say maybe 15 seconds but if I were to rate the level of pain on a scale of 1-10 I'd say it was right around a 7. It felt like a TON of pressure was in my head and it was gonna pop like a balloon. On top of that I think I messed my neck up cause it makes this weird click noise now sometimes. I know I was close though to passing cause right before I managed to get to safety I felt light headed and started getting really dizzy and a tingly feeling in my head. I personally would never try again unless it was my only option and due to survival instinct id zip tie my hands together before I stepped off the platform.
Thanks for sharing your experience. How was the strangulation? Like, were you aware of not being able to breath and needing oxygen, or did the almost passing out feeling come first?
That's weird, I've never seen that one before. It doesn't even seem like it would work. Is it even cutting off the arteries that was? Is that a real suicide case?

know, most people mention partial. I scared of full, but I'm also scared of partial failing, which it seems more likely to do. The last thing I need is to be brain dead or something.
Several people here have failed at partial 15r - 25 times- it only works rarely based on so many posts. Full suspension seems to work very reliably at long as the setup is secure and no one takes you down, and as long as the knot slides freely. Sometimes people's arms and legs move and then keep bainging into a door or wall an d then someone hears this and rescues them. If you are in a building by yourself with no one to hear this helps. Adam Meier-Clayton from Canada was a young man who ctb'd at age 27 due to severe undiagnosed chronic pain as well- the method is not known, he ended up going to a hotel from what I have heard. He campaigned in Canada for a right to die but they would not do this for his case. He posted videos on youtube about his situation before he ctb'd.

I don't think I'll be heard where I plan to do it, so that's good at least. I'm struggling with the knot though. I tied a slipknot which everyone says to do, but I tested it and under enough pressure it starts coming loose. I saw someone mention an Arbor knot which is like a slipknot but with an extra knot to keep it from sliding on the wrong end. I know a regular slipknot is supposed to work, but maybe I just tied it wrong somehow. Either way, I'll keep researching and practicing until I figure it out. I'm trying to hold out til October for several reasons, that would give me plenty of time, but I'm just jot sure I can hold off that long. We'll see
Okay so 5 years ago I was going to attempt full suspension. I taped 2 electrical cords together and tied them to a tree, took a chair to stand on the ground was very bumpy so the second i got the noose over my head the chair fell... It's kind of hard to explain but I still had my foot on the edge of the chair so i was able to get the chair back up and after that happened I chickened out. I hanged for maybe half a second in full suspension. I wouldn't really call this an attempt cuz got the noose to the right place of my neck and I never Got the chance to attempt and step off the chair cuz the chair fell. Anyways it hurt like hell and i had marks on my neck for 4 DAYS AFTER!! which is crazy, yea so electrical cords aren't a very good rope... Hurt like hell and left marks for days, electrical cords are pretty strong but not good for hanging so I don't recommend to use one!!
There are two carotids artiries connecting the blood stems to your brain. Use your fingers u can feel the pulse. Its near there but not definately. Many chickened out when they pass out at 15s hit the sweet spot. Maybe thr SI kicks in. And its not easy to find it. Use your fingers and press it on both sides of your neck. Its painless hard if u feel giddy yes thats the right spot. No nessassaily rope not too thick ones. A scarf or plain clothes can do the job. You will be out of breathe but its not painful at alll.
Its hard to press it yourself someone has to do it for u.
I'm a little worried about seeing them myself (I know...if I can hang myself, I should be able to watch someone else, but I'm worried it might scare me off. Have you seen any of them? If so, could you give me a brief summary. As in, how long before losing conciousness, was there a struggle? Things like that. I'd appeciate it
