Feeling mild unease at where I'll ctb

On the 14th of march will be the day I kick the bucket; I've been looking forward to that, however I'm concerned about this one thing. I'll be going into the forest to do a hanging there, and it'll be at roughly 2 am, when it'll be rather dark. Thing is: I've never been best friends with dim places, so being in the middle of a grim forest in the dead of night, knowing I'll likely die there isn't always the most pleasant thought. I'd feel like the average character in a horror movie.

Therefore, I wonder how I'll build the courage to overcome my fear of the dark, because I'd be open to suggestions. I know it's ironic for someone to be more afraid of that than death itself, but that's just how it is for whatever reasons. Sorry if this is a rather silly post compared to the other ones on here. I just want to feel a little more comfortable out there.

can you take anything help you relax? benzos, alcohol? is there a reason you cannot go during the light of day? I will go in the forest too, in the light of the sun. different method though. Good luck whatever you are able to decide or do.

It's nighttime, so I'll definitely be undisturbed, and I want to be sober in that moment. I don't want people to think it's a decision I took when I was intoxicated, because that'd make it seem more impulsive, even with a note. Plus I want to be clear-headed for important choices.

Will take some simple pain medications, though that's more for physical pain.

I understand that. I don't want people to know I did it at all. I am planing to not be found, and if I ever am, I hope it is long after they would be able to know I drank wine beforehand. I also would not want anyone to think I was "just drunk" and did something "crazy" Good Luck
