i really would prefer to be buried, though i know the people around me would probably be more inclined to burn me. in the end, i won't be here, the body left behind and the choices done with it are to be left with the people i leave behind. whatever makes them most comfortable is fine with me.
I'd enjoy to have a natural burial yet cremation is always an option for me! I think a natural burial seems better for the earth and embalming chemicals are horrible for the environment so it seems. Cremation is fine and can help the earth around you yet a natural burial does more. Our body can provide for an ecosystem if you do a natural burial like for vultures or maggots! ^u^
Cremation for me personally I just find so uncomfortable.
I dont feel comfortable my family having a piece of me leftover in their homes in a box sitting in the living room or whatever room of the house. No No No the whole thing just makes me uncomfortable thinking about it.
I wouldn't like that either being in a box or urn in family home, no way! I'd want my ashes scattered somewhere like next to a peaceful lake or forest. Hmm makes me think, I'd need to let someone know this.
I want to be cremated and dumped in a landfill. It'll be easier for the world to forget me and treat me as if I never existed if there's no memorial to my corpse.
im one of those people that doesn't really care what happens lol, when i'm dead im going to be to busy being dead to care about what organisms may or may not be devouring my corpse. good on them for finding a decent snack i guess.

I'd prefer for my body to be dumped in the wilderness so that some of the resources I've been hoarding can be repurposed by other living things.
BUT, seeing as that is illegal pretty much everywhere (and I don't know anyone who would go dump my corpse in a remote location), I guess I'd prefer to be cremated as the second best option. I don't really care what happens to my body given that I don't believe in an afterlife. I'm more concerned that the people I care about grieve in a healthy way after I'm gone.
Edit: or be used for medical science, if I ever get around to filling out the proper forms and sending those in.
I was going to pre-pay for a cremation with no funeral. I love the idea of vanishing and being completely forgotten at every level. But in the end, my idiot family will do whatever they want.
Waking up while buried has happened before and is a huge argument against burial in a coffin. It relates to Lazarus syndrome.
I've like the idea of giving back the the earth in a way but the idea of being buried in a coffin is a bit uncomfortable, would probably prefer to be cremated but once I'm gone not like it matters at that point.
No--Spent 15 grand(actually only three grand,$241/month payments) for a top spot in an outdoor mausoleum--Left signed checks for stepmother to pay balance after CTB
It doesn't make a difference to me what people want to do with the body once I'm gone. I won't be around to care. They can do whatever makes them most comfortable/happy.
