• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I tune most of it out. I have a compilation sent to me each morning by ChatGPT in my areas of interest and people will send me stuff from time to time or I'll catch wind of something from a forum like this, but I haven't looked at an actual news site in months. Most of it is propoganda anyway - you end up knowing more by not hearing it because those who get caught right up in it end up brainwashed by it.

I often watch news about Ukraine-Russia because it's something that interests me, but when it comes to other things I try not to watch anything so as not to overload myself with information, especially things that would make me feel bad.
I find myself consuming news in a similar way
