Do you have a date picked out or are you waiting for the "right moment"?

I know I want to ctb before May 1st but I can't decide if I want to pick a specific date or just wait until the timing feels right.

I don't like setting dates, I never go through with it then, obviously I'm still here. When I ctb, it will be on impulse. Get everything ready and set up, so when I get impulsive again, I can just leave.

Im more of the impulsive type. My half assed attempts were all from "planned"

I think maybe a general idea of when, but not an exact date planned, is what I need.

I'm not sure what state of mind I should be in. I seem to most of the time feel like "I need to do it within a few months" and then sometimes I feel like I need to do it immediately because I feel so shitty. But in the latter state it is hard to accomplish anything. So maybe I need to be in the former state. Or somewhere in between!

AS I told my doctor - "The day I chose to die will be THE MOST IMPORTANT DAY of my life - IT HAS got to be good !!!" so I have the concept worked out - the wines for the last week, the room odorizers that I want, I even had a tailor make me a special exotic wardrobe made for the last weeks before... HOWEVER I get to mexico to do it, and NO Nembutal... so I am now buying Amitrip... may chose to get to Europe to take these Mexican meds... dunno yet... but then again, I may chose to die next week.... but "it has got to be good'

I imagine it's just a disturbing thought if you feel like you can't go on much longer. I don't like the thought of it either. I think my life will only get worse so I hope I am able to do it sometime soon-ish.

personally - I am working it hard now , AFTER "knowing" for 8 years, and specifically decided for the last 3 years. Why it took so long ? Well I wanted to spend the money I had, I made myself do my bucket list twice. And frankly now I am ready... I just don't want to put it off and LENGTHEN the pain too much longer. Have had so many surgeries and all - methinks, am ready... been quite bored for the past 2 years... have done everything

I never thought of it that way - great idea to pass someone their name....
Kazilium, I guess I never thought of it - because if I die in mexico- I want my body to be simply buried in some group unknown grave here - no need to get all pokey to fly the unwanted body back.... and the costs... yikes.

I want to be incinerated. I already informed my family of this and.... I hope they will respect that. I will have my ID on me when it happens. I don't wanna make it a news headliner but I also don't want people to wonder where the hell did I disappear again. Here, incinerations are cheaper than the traditional funerals... Don't know how's stuff in Mexico tho.

Did plan to do it in October, but i am to tired in my head to wait for it. so it gonna be in May or so. Wanna paint some walls and do some other things to leave everything behind pretty and clean. I feel the same. I don't know that it will be impulse. It may be that I've finally had all I can take of this shitty world.
Sigh :( I guess that would be impulse. :(
I think there will have to be some planning so I don't get "saved" before I finally pass on.
