About the SN protocol, I have a question regarding the use of benzodiazepines.
PPEH recommends Oxazepam, so I'll use that as an example. Suppose we take 600mg of Oxazepam immediately after ingesting SN. This dosage would cause us to fall asleep earlier. The concern is: once we fall asleep, we lose the ability to monitor whether we vomit, and consequently, we may miss the opportunity to take the second dose.
By contrast, if we don't take any benzodiazepines, we may remain conscious for a longer period before falling asleep. The benefit of this is that we would have more time to respond to any vomiting if it occurs.
So I'm unsure — is the use of benzodiazepines actually a mistake?
Remark: English is not my first language, but I've tried my best to express the main idea. Please excuse any grammatical mistakes or awkward phrasing.
