So, yesterday night I had made mind and had all the resources to do ctb by hanging. I was fully prepared and absolutely fully motivated to do it. But a window had no curtains in my room. And from it one can directly sees the ceiling fan from which I was about to do hanging. And there are houses a bit far away: 100 ft a lot of them and a road from which one can see the ceiling fan directly. Although road is not busy at all at night but i donot wanted to take chances.
I went to bring newspapers from living room and glue to bring it from my parents room as it was 11 pm. So, they became cautious and were able to find hanging cloth from beneath the bed and could deduce that I had brought up hanging cloth from the bed storage. They took the hanging cloth and father slept with me.
Was i being overly paranoid? In my country, some people are able to do ctb at night using a tree in a park. I didn't wanted to be saved at all and didn't wanted to take a risk. Did I missed a golden opportunity due to paranoia as it was 11 pm at night or my fear was rational ? Please guide me.
Was I being extremely paranoid and lost an extremely golden opportunity or is the fear rational?
