I adore elfin lied, good choice, mainly that opening scene accompanied by the music, though good choices with fate zero and evanglion. Fate zeros especially nice with ryuunusuke and caster. Couldn't get enough of either of em.

Mesmerising music. The piano is not out of tune, but rather tuned in just intonation. There are loud and fast passages, but if listened to as a whole (the entire album lasts close to two hours), it can put one in an almost surreal mood. Probably not too many people will consider this to be comfy, but I'll post it anyway.

The comfiness comes from the way it saturates the senses. I like post-black metal for the same reason.

I don't know if I've ever been good enough. I'm a little bit rusty, and I think my head is caving in. And I don't know if I've ever been really loved by a hand that's touched me. I feel like something's gonna give. And I'm a little bit angry.

I'll listen to almost anything these days. I am also not a snob; I just have good taste. That being said, the piece in question borders on kitsch. It reminds me of the kind of corporate music you'd hear in some mobile phone commercial. (This is just my personal opinion.)

The harmony is so terribly insipid, there's no sense of counterpoint whatsoever, and the piece finishes too long after the end, to paraphrase Stravinsky. It's very two-dimensional. (This is just my personal opinion. What "type of music snob" am I supposed to be?)
