Don’t believe everything you think

Do you think some people who CTB actually showed bipolar or bpd traits (I know they are different and impact people to different degrees, but I'm 'diagnosed' with both)? I was initially thinking about celebrities but it most likely applies to the general population too, especially as a lot of people who present with either condition are first 'diagnosed' with depression. Psychiatry knows very little, and tries to put labels around a group of symptoms, but often do not see the whole picture.
Many people are shocked when someone takes their own life, especially if it's 'unexpectedly'. Smiling faces are shown, along with messages about how they hid their depression. While that may be the case, I can't help but wonder if it was not so unipolar. For me, the whiplash of going from extreme highs to despairing lows affects me more greatly than when things don't seem great. Idk though
