I really did try. I knew I wouldn't succeed, but I gave it my all. He did for a split second think about it. But Stan was logical. Once he made up his mind, that was it. Even if he wanted to change it.

I got my first major project completed since you have been gone. Had to get back to work. I couldn't use the holidays as an excuse.
I am just not feeling it or caring. I always had fake to the world I am happy. Now I have to fake caring.
You know I didn't like the world before. It's getting even more difficult.
I miss you. I don't know how I am doing any of this without you steering me in the right direction.Last edited:

I'm sorry you are stuck in that situation, especially if you're drowsy. I think people should be forced to take care of their own kids. They had them, and they should be the ones to take care of them.

Eh it's not so bad as I like kids. I'm just really really tired of one not wanting to share anything with the other and the moment you try to say no to his anything he gets whiny and wants to start yelling. Luckily he's been disciplined enough that if you tell him to stop he actually will because he knows there is consequences to not behaving.

The second major real work project is done. I am still not feeling it. I'm in robot mode going through the motions and not into it. Now everyone is seeing me back to work, so I am being bombarded. Fake smile glued to my face.
You never understood my job and the torture associated with it. I know you are watching with that amused look on your face and you are shaking your head not understanding the hell I put myself through on purpose at work lol.
I'm thinking again of those with you today. I hope you all are kicking back with the popcorn.
