• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I haven't decided when to ctb yet cause I still have a few things to do

But I have written a will and all the letters to my loved ones.

I have one question tho. My family live in a EU country , and I live in another EU country for work. I want to be buried on my homeland so they will need to rempatriate my body. What bothers me is that I think it will be expensive, and I don't want to be a burden to them even as a dead person.

Should I maybe get some sort of insurance ?

I recommend getting cremated, in the end it's the cheapest thing to do, I wrote to cremate myself in fact, then they can always keep the ashes at home and therefore for them you will be even "closer" than being a decomposing body in a cemetery.

If you have the money for repatriation expenses, you could just send your loved ones the money before you ctb, telling them what it is for.
