I did a lot of research on this and it is complicated, there is no one easy answer- whatever directino you choose there are some failures. higher caliber weapon and a hollow point bullet seem to improve chances. I personally decided not to do this method because I was too wrorried about risk of failure. Overal the success rate in the u.s., with this method is about 83%, but when it fails the3re is often a lot of damage, but not always. Sometimes people aim for the brain stem and miss it, because it is small and easy to miss, and it goes out the neck and there is no real damage. I would do a lot of research on google if you are going ahead with this method. People who know a lot about guns and who use a shotgun or high caliber weapon with a hollow poinht improve ther chances a lot, but due to recoil and other variable getting to 100% reliability is tough.

If it's a shotgun, I don't think it would matter too much but I personally would do the oral route.

Temple shots do kill. You won't even feel the pain because your brain can't register pain that fast. Seen enough videos online of people shooting themselves in the temple and they are dead.

There is a video on this site somewhere, or at least there was, of a person who tried using a shotgun and who blew his whole face off and survived, so you do need to be very careful withy this way as well. For people who are good with guns, and who understand recoil especially, this can be close to a 100% method.

Yeah, I had access to a magnum in November and I was pretty close to using it after I found out my ex cheated on me and abused me unnessescarily for the past half year for no reason when he knew he was making me suicidal and he'd constantly tell me to kill myself, but I was worried about failing so I decided not to, would rather use the right bullets and the proper shotgun to get as close to 99% certainty as I can.

When I sdaw people on youtibe who have posted videos of surviving this method it was pretty convincing to me to look into other methods with less downside irsk, but all methods have risk, so each person needs to decide for themselves.

Location, like geographic? Out in the wilderness and send delayed message to ensure you're only discovered by someone prepared for that discovery, and not a child or random civilian

it matters, because failed attempts have resulted in waking up with half a face or severe brain damage and surviving.
