Though I never have sex myself, I've plenty of fucked up sexual fantasies I guess? It's just I am not interested to actually take the leap and have sex with a real person, not to mention the various consequences of doing so. On top of that, I've religious guilt due to my upbringing.
Looking at bdsm from the outside I think people who are into kink like that are just looking for some kind of emotional catharsis. Alot of aspect of bdsm is basically entrusting yourself and body to your partner, so there's that.
To live is to suffer, so maybe they cope by taking some pleasure out of the pain lol
