It utilizes the same principle that hanging does, that is, cutting off oxygen supply to the brain by compressing the carotid arteries. The difference being that in hanging, the work is done by gravity, whereas with the Kairos collar, the work is done by applied pressure to the carotid arteries themselves.

There are methods similar to it already here on the forum. I believe the design would be similar to the blood cuff method talked about in other threads.

Anyway, the concept has been around for quite a while. The "Korean collar" it used to go by I believe.

They're just stringing people along. It's not going to be released. They had a long time to get this out by now and keep pushing the deadline. It's this DIY-looking toy and they can't get it released by now and they were able to get the Sarco released? What a bunch of bull.

Besides, off topic, how do we know it's effective? If some of us can't get PSH or Night-Night done easily, how would this be the anticipated game-changer they claim? Doubt it'd bring the peace that they claim. The trust in this organization has been eroded.

I wonder if it has a good chance of failing and how long you wear it. But Nitschke makes me angry because he's made a fortune, much from very ill people who need a painless way out but he doesn't seem to actually help you. He gets donations, money from workshops, membership and items he sells by I don't know how many actually find peace I see many say he doesn't reply and Exit doesn't help advise anymore. I think if he is compassionate him and Fiona have money, power, influence and supplies to actually do something.
