Hello all
Apologies if this has been discussed before/elsewhere.
I've been thinking about hanging and if some sort of collar that targets the carotids could be just as effective?
The picture is a very rough idea but if you use a belt or collar and have something that fits either side of the airway (the black bits) you'll pass out in seconds without the horrible feeling of an airway being crushed?
I'm thinking something without eyelets as that takes time to apply tightly enough. But maybe a double ring system that loops on itself if that makes sense? That way you can take your time positioning it then when perfect you tighten and it'll stay on even after passing out.
I've been knocked out a couple of times from sleeper holds/self defence and when applied correctly you sleep in seconds & in those situations the hold is released ASAP of course.
But if wanting to ctb could a collar that replicates the precision be possible and maintained? Seems it would be just as effective, potentially more so, than hanging with a rope?
