This is unfortunate, I really hope this place stays... It is the only place we can talk about our true emotions without getting cliches...
The grieving process did not even start, I believe it was the day she passed out her mother immediately started the blame game writing publicly msg about this site s "darkness " or whatever...Again, a perfectly acceptable grieving response, it's not personal, it's raw emotion
I would probably just add that MOST of those visiting this sites have

Sorry ,in first paragraph I wanted to write - I would add MOST of those visiting this site have undergone years of treatments ,often to little (temporary) or no avail
still in a state of shockHow can say she hadn't started grieving?
read the first one as "DENTAL" instead of Denial for a minute .. was like 'dental grief, i've had tht o.o'
I was thinking of creating a thread to give members the ability to tell how SS has helped them, to at least challenge the narrative that this is a sadistic/evil site for any visitors, and to make them able to see another perspective. Would it be relevant? I mean it there would definitely be some survivor's bias but still...
-Will the site ever close? Should I worry?

Kakabushi was dead when her mother found her blue and not breathing. I'm sure it was dreadfully distressing, probably compounded by the fact that Kakabushi had written about her mother sleeping just down the hall. On her fb page the mother refers to herself as a life coach helping others be healthy and happy. Kakabushi didn't fit that agenda and the mother must be having a huge struggle with her own self-image and remorse on top of her grief. No wonder she wants to blame someone else.
I wish the family greater understanding.
Yeah pretty sure I got in trouble last summer due to asking something similar. I was just curious as to if something could happen since previous suicide forums had been shut downI'd just like to address the original question from the OP: Are we safe?
From the Rules & FAQ:
Turns out you are on to something! She edited her page and removed the "happy coach" thingy. She clearly reads stuff here. Ignores the responses about the good and keeps pushing that ss is "evil".It may be like damage control? People know her as coach so she is directing the fault to others as a way to mantain the credibility on her bussines and giving a good image by doing the "positive thing"...
Who knows
It would be nice to forget about it, but these nasty people are spewing their awful narrative non-stop unchallenged. They love playing the victims when they were more like victimaries and since we are on a small corner, their twisted version gets all the spotlight with not a single person even spreading our side of the story, so the public opinion is as one-sided as it can get.I feel like this whole matter should be forgotten. We already gave it too much attention.
I think others have pretty much covered everything, however I understand that kakabushi's main source of unhappiness was her workplace. A quick search on Google gives an insight into what it's like to work for Amazon, this one here is particularly eye opening.
Newsweek WORKING AT AMAZON: 189 SUICIDE ATTEMPTS, MENTAL HEALTH EPISODES REPORTEDLY TOOK PLACE OVER FIVE YEARS
I think the report speaks for itself.
I only used it as an example of Amazon's record regarding working conditions, there are plenty more out there. The report doesn't differentiate between completed attempts, failed attempts, nor other sort of "episode." Nor does it tell us the size of the group. And it is over a five year period (so on average less than 40 per annum). And it is a fact that suicides are more prevalent in the lower socioeconomic orders.
So the report doesn't really tell us much.

Sadly I don't, but I'm aware of what they say. A shame most of us have ditched social media since they can just give their version and I really doubt the person who wrote the article will even listen tocthe other version of the events.Fair enough. I tend to look critically at any statistics.

Honestly I doubt that's the actual reason. She must have had prior mental issues already that led her there. But it probably was the icing in the cake. Her mom, the happy coach, and the one who was supposed to raise her daughter the right way, probably pressured her to work there against her will, as she was living with her. Her poor baby ego can't take the blame of the loss of her daughter, so she rather pass it on to strangers who literally did nothing to cause her to kill herself. She wrote that: "The main reason I want to kill myself is because of work".
