• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Hi there, i want to discuss, and help out other people, also caretakers and also recive tips and help.

Me and my mom we are caretakers of my father, who is now just barely alive, he had few strokes and now he is need of our constant care. He can speak but mostly incoherent sentences, but that is about it. He and mom are main reasons i can˝t ctb or move in isloated place. I can˝t leave her alone with him, and after he is gone i cannot do that to her.

So if u need support in any way, this might be the place

Caretaking can be demanding and even exhausting. However, there can be an element of taking yourself out of yourself such that a degree of satisfaction can also be experienced.

yeah, it can be demanding, and also anchor for not ctb
Any reason you make not to CTB is a reason for recovery.

I know care work can be exhausting, I was a health care assistant in a geriatric nursing home for 10 years. It's the most physically and emotionally demanding job I've ever done. At least I got to go home and stop caring at the end of a day (or night), I don't think I could do it for family - not that it's a possibility now that I'm non-contact with my family.
