Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Medically induced or otherwise. Just sounds nice to be able to sleep for days/years at a time

There are plenty of coma horror stories, it's not all dreaming of rainbows and sunshine. Plus once you come out of it you still gotta deal with the world but it's worse now because you gotta adjust (not to mention being comatose can lead to many complications). I'll take good ole fashioned death.

How would the complications compare though to, let's say, a failed attempt with CO, where there's permanent damage?

Fuck no.

A couple years ago I heard about this guy who went into a coma for a few months I think and he said it was the most nightmarish experience of his life.

He was experiencing consciousness, but it was like he was trapped in a dream or another state of wakefulness in another dimension, but he was basically re-living the same scenario on repeat and it was terrifying and tortuous. He was being chased and torn apart by creatures/demons and then being respawned. In this state, he even experienced/saw his daughter being killed by being thrown into some sort of grinder and he said it felt so real and the screams and the fear felt so real that it literally traumatized him.

Just on that testimony alone I would never want to be in a coma, ever.

Not really if I awake from it at some point. Maybe the thought of not having to look after myself is nice but then, I don't like the thought of other people having to take care of me either.

Just wanting some peace

I understand as I just want to sleep as well, I just wish to be unconscious of this existence where I cannot suffer in any way but personally I want to permanently cease existing, I just want to never wake ever again, non-existence is all that's positive and desirable for me and I'll only be at peace once I'm permanently asleep incapable of suffering with this futile, torturous existence all forgotten about.

if it is medically induced, I would. but I also know how my body reacts to medically induced comas as I have had this experience.

I wouldn't even want to imagine it, it would be a nightmare. Being in such a vulnerable situation... You could be abused and you wouldn't even realize it.

I've been in a coma for 3 weeks less than 2 years ago. It was medical induced. I remember it as a state of pure bliss. 5/5 would recommend.
