I envy you for that, you can just go to your local Walmart, buy a gun and end your life. I've been trying to find the right hanging method for a while now, PSH in closet didn't work. Settled on FSH using a door but I just learned it's unlikely to work despite seeing vids of such, now I'm back to PSH ,this time I'm thinking that kneeling may do the difference but I don't want to fuck up and be brain dead either.

A firearm would be so much simpler. Although I've seen several vids of people blowing their face off with a shotgun and surviving despite that, that's a much worse date than being brain-dead imo

I am jealous. In Canada you need to do a 12 hour program / course (usually split between two days) + have a background check, and my depressed ass is too lazy to do all that.

I think it's probably not that hard, not having owned one myself but seeing gun deaths by suicide or murder like every day in the news. But maybe my country shouldn't fuck me up so badly that I need one in the first place?

There are plenty of other states that require no license or permit besides Texas, in fact, I moved to one for that reason.

It's near impossible in NY. Especially with mental health history.

The mental health history part still applies regardless of what state.

It's not always easy to purchase a firearm. In my previous state, there was a process to obtain one. I recently moved and was able to purchase a handgun because it's much easier in my new state. There's still Federal background checks but, thankfully, my inpatient stays have been voluntary (not involving a judge) so I still qualified to purchase a firearm.

I think it really depends on on where you live and your history.

(3) Is an unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled substance;

(5) Is an alien illegally or unlawfully in the United States or an alien admitted to the United States under a nonimmigrant visa;

(6) Has been discharged from the Armed Forces under dishonorable conditions;

(7) Having been a citizen of the United States, has renounced his or her citizenship;

(8) Is subject to a court order that restrains the person from harassing, stalking, or threatening an intimate partner or child of such intimate partner issued after a hearing

at which notice was given to the person and at which the person had an opportunity to participate, and includes a finding that the person subject to the order represents a credible threat to the intimate partner or child or the intimate partner OR explicitly prohibits the use, attempted use, or threatened use of force against the partner; or

(9) Has been convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence cannot lawfully receive, possess, ship, or transport a firearm or ammunition,is prohibited from shipping, transporting, possessing, or receiving firearms and ammunition.

A person who is under indictment or information for a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding 1 year cannot lawfully ship, transport, or receive a firearm or ammunition. Such persons may continue to lawfully possess firearms and ammunition obtained prior to the indictment or information, but cannot do so once the conviction becomes final.

Sure, theoretically as long as you aren't these things it should be easy. However, considering this site there's a lot of people who can't get access because they've been committed. If you're 4 you're kind of fucked unless there's a time frame where that doesn't matter anymore.

I live in New Jersey (which has some of the strictest gun laws in America) and I own a gun and plan to buy more. Let me tell you it wasn't that easy and it really depends on the state that you live in. I had to get fingerprinted, take an online safety course, go through a background check for the state and local police, and have two references vouch for me to be able to get my firearms license. That's all before the background check that goes down at the time of purchase (if you buy a gun from an FFL and not a private sale as in some states private sales don't require background checks but in mine it does so it wouldn't matter anyway).

They truly are fortunate to me, all I envy are those who are no longer burdened with this dreadful, torturous and painful existence I just always saw as a mistake, for me non-existence is the solution, non-existence is just the only peace in this existence so harmful and deeply undesirable that just causes endless amounts of torture and suffering, the fact that I cannot access painless,guaranteed death is such a terrible crime, I always suffer so much from being trapped in this horrific world where I cannot just easily find peace from this existence that only ever caused me to suffer.
