Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Since I've been here, I've thought about multiple methods. Certain substances seem to be very difficult to reliably obtain in England, without drawing attention to one's self. This makes it difficult for options such as the SN method.

I've been researching the suicide bag method, and my understanding is that the idea is essentially to create an environment where oxygen and carbon dioxide presence is low, and to replace these gasses with a gas such as nitrogen or helium. The theory is that if done right, I'd become unconscious after only a few breaths, and the helium/nitrogen will continue to do its job, resulting in death soon after. Very high level, but does this sound correct.

I understand that the bag must continue to inflate with the nitrogen/helium in order to keep oxygen and carbon dioxide to a minimum.

I have a gas mask, one with a tube attachment. What if I used a small bucket with a lid, woth two holes. The first hole would have the tube to the gas mask inserted, sealed around it to prevent any leakage. The second hole would be for a pipe coming from the nitrogen/helium canister, to allow the bucket to fill with nitrogen/helium.

Breathing in would result in the gas being pulled in from the bucket, and breathing out opens a non-return valve on the hood so that it's just exhaled into the room. This should mean that the bucket remains exclusively filled with the nitrogen/helium, in theory at least.

Does this sound effective? Is there a way I can monitor nitrogen/helium levels in the bucket, and can I simulate a breath? I'd like to somehow test the scenario and make sure that the contents of the bucket remain as nitrogen/helium after a bresth is taken to ensure the best outcome.

Thank you for any support or advice.

Why bucket tho? I constructed sth similar for myself:
Only thing it's lacking atm is the connection between CPAP pipe and regulator. Will probably print sth soon.

Thanks for the links so far, I see there are some different ways of doing this. I'm just looking at what I have available to me at the moment.

Here is my general idea after reading some of the ideas and thoughts here.

The Nitrogen bottle with a regulator, allowing me to set the flow rate. The pressure relief valve will allow the gas mask to fill, and any pressure build up with be released via the pressure relief valve. This should ensure that the intake is purely from the nitrogen tank, in theory, I think?

The gas mask will fill with nitrogen, which will be inhaled, and when I exhale, it will be via a non-return valve.

I don't think you need the pressure relief valve. Everything else appears to be OK. I am using the bag.
