Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I've been studying my plan for a bit. Basically I need to walk out of my town into a forested region nearby, and it's around a 1-2 hour walk out of my town. The problem is that most of my walk would need to be done on one of my town's main roads since this place only has a few thousand people. We have a typical 4 way intersection in the middle. What I'm worried about is being spotted by someone (there's a lot of residential/commercial buildings), getting hit by a car, and potentially being very exposed/suspicious with what I will be carrying. Any other way to get to the location would require me to do a fair bit of trespassing over farmland and such... so I'd rather not get shot by some dude on my way to CTB by myself. There are potential alternative locations with less time on similar roads, but the end locations are less ideal.

I have an ok alternative if my first options aren't gonna work too. The location is better but it's like a 6 hour walk away; and even though it goes on a "large" road, it is one that is deep in the country most of the time so I think it'd be better with less traffic, excluding the longer walk time.

My suicide method is also hypothermia for extra context. (And I'm confident that I could complete it). I would like to bring alcohol with me too but I again don't want legal trouble since I'm in America. A lot of this might just be me overthinking the entire thing, but if anyone can provide extra help, advice, suggestions, etc. it would be greatly appreciated by me! Will provide more clarity if needed.

The only thing that I can comment on is the hypothermia aspect. I live in the U.S. in a state where we just had -45F windchill and a -22F actual temp I have lived in a 4-season climate all my life and YES, I have had frostbite. Nothing bad, but enough to know that freezing my butt off is NOT a way that I would want to ctb..

Also, if someone would find a person still alive and get them to a hospital and get gradually warmed up, parts of the body might have to be amputated. YIKES!

It is like trying to ctb with otc drugs. More than likely one gets damaged organs and a living hell afterwards.

I consider you a good friend and a family member here, and with that said PLEASE get this out of your mind.

In my state it doesn't get very cold most of the winter, it's around 20F to 50F; and I'm going to try to do hypothermia in the 30s while wet. You think that'll be enough? Since water conducts heat very fast from the body and theoretically it should reduce severe frostbite risk in case I somehow survive?
