[goodbye] My final hours

Hi everybody. I explained much of what I needed to in this previous post, so I won't be going into that here.

I have 3 hours left till I will drink my SN and hopefully, pass away. I'm sitting now in front of a waterfall that shares the name of the town I've lived my whole life, hardly a mile away from my childhood home. I never really got very far, and as much as I would dream of it, it was really never in the cards for me that I ever would.

It's been a really lovely day. I was very anxious last night, but once I got over here, I just let myself get lost in the moment and being in nature. A little while ago I had an oxy. It makes me feel a bit like I'm in hospice. I definitely exhausted myself with the short hike. But for once the fatigue feels okay, because I won't have to endure it for long.

In about 2 hours I'll make the walk over to the swath of forest I've chosen for my spot. I don't have much else to say until then, I guess. I'm going to take the hike to the bottom of the falls, I'll check back in a few.

Don't worry about "not getting very far", because it's subjective. We all will be forgotten someday even Newton. The key is that our atoms will live on and the invisible ripples we made will continue until the heat death of the universe. Nothing gold can stay.

Olá a todos. Já expliquei grande parte do que precisava na publicação anterior, então não vou repetir aqui.

Tenho 3 horas até tomar meu SN e, com sorte, falecer. Estou sentado agora em frente a uma cachoeira que tem o mesmo nome da cidade onde vivi a vida toda, a pouco mais de um quilômetro da casa da minha infância. Nunca cheguei a ir muito longe, e por mais que sonhasse com isso, nunca esteve realmente nos meus planos.

Foi um dia realmente adorável. Estava muito ansiosa ontem à noite, mas assim que cheguei aqui, me deixei levar pelo momento e pela natureza. Tomei um oxicodona há pouco tempo. Me sinto um pouco como se estivesse em um centro de cuidados paliativos. Definitivamente me exauri com a curta caminhada. Mas, pela primeira vez, a fadiga parece suportável, porque não terei que suportá-la por muito tempo.

Em cerca de duas horas, farei a caminhada até a faixa de floresta que escolhi para o meu local. Acho que não tenho muito mais a dizer até lá. Vou fazer a trilha até a base da cachoeira e volto daqui a pouco para dar notícias.

wishing the best for you and your journey, i have a similar plan of going outside when taking SN, as even tho being in my own bed would feel best, i dont want to either be found too soon or be found dead by my family because thinking about it hurts and makes me hesitate, and nature is still very nice to me. i hope nature embraces you with open arms, im sure it will, nature always welcomes us back home

i feel this a lot, and i wish you didnt have to feel the same even if you dont feel as if you got far, im sure you tried your best and dreamed of it truly, and i think that's the thing that counts. even if life didnt pan out to be how you wanted it to, you still dreamed and gave it a shot, and that's further than many people go, your strength and effort are recognized even if you may not see it yourself

whatever you choose as the best next step for you, i pray it grants you the relief you need, and you'll find light no matter what form it takes, in this life or beyond

I hope you're in a nice quaint spot. I'm not sure when sundown is for you, but where I am it's 8:30ish. I hope you're in a good space mentally. Don't be afraid to say no if you're hesitant. No one here is encouraging you to do it. But I think we all understand where you are and hope you find peace, one way or another
