Method AI chatbot with no guardrails?

Hi everybody, I'm looking for a chatbot that'll help me with/provide methods. I'm pretty tech illiterate and am just working with a MacBook here, but I'm reading that I'd have to download and run an LLM locally? If anyone could guide me in a clearer direction that would be greatly appreciated, I'm in way over my head! I'm sure this has been asked a hundred times on here but for whatever reason I couldn't find anything. Thank you in advance :)

While this is not of much direct assistance re. your goal (I apologize), please note that locally run models and those which are advertised as being 'uncensored' are often smaller in parameter size such that they perform well on individual devices rather than requiring data centers and $20,000 USD GPUs. As a result of this, however, local models are dramatically more prone to inaccuracies and so-called 'hallucinations', particularly in matters requiring nuance, factual recall, or reasoning efforts beyond a certain elementary level. Personally, I would advise against relying on them for advice in life-or-death matters, so to speak. I truly wish you the best.
