I felt the same until I heard she was alive after she fell. There's was an off duty nurse on scene who said that she spoke to the victim after making her way down to where she was laying, I'm not sure how long she lived for though.

So, not 1, not 2, but THREE people didn't bother to make sure she was hooked up properly?? Definitely some jail time coming there.

How tf does someone forget to attach the rope? They literally just threw her to her death. This must have been due to some major complacency.

Still not as embarrassing as the guy who accidentally ctb himself while wrapped in cheese in a swimsuit.

Exactly my reaction; I made another thread about it. I would have loved to be in her place.

FUCK NO! She hit the ground AND LIVED. She ended up dying slowly, in the middle of nowhere. I am not jealous AT ALL. I am deeply saddened that someone had to experience that.

So far, 6 people have been arrested. In the videos, you can even hear some people whispering "and the rope?" But nobody tried to warn the people who threw her

They saw it. They made several comments, but they didn't inform the team that threw it. People were constantly whispering, "Where's the rope?" "Guys, where's the rope?" But they did nothing about it

It was probably a bystander effect. Lots of people nearby, everyone commenting, and nobody taking any action. Maybe even out of fear of criticizing the "professionals," since these people tend to be extremely arrogant.

True. The first time I had any personal experience with that was at a gun range. A guy TEACHING a class for armed security guards was out on the range teaching a bunch of 20-something year old kids that the proper way to check for a squib load (a bullet that doesn't get ejected from the barrel when you pull the trigger -- usually caused by a reloader not putting enough gun powder in the shell when loading or a dud primer) was to LOOK INSIDE THE BARREL. Basically POINT THE GUN SQUARE AT YOUR HEAD to see "what the deal is". 👀👀👀👀👀🤢🤢🤢

I can honestly say when I saw him do that I literally nearly puked! So ... I run out onto the range and tell him in no uncertain terms what a fucking idiot he is and if I EVER see or hear of him doing that again I will make sure he NEVER teaches another class at the local vo-tech EVER again. You can only imagine how well he (an old guy who "has forgotten more about guns than you will ever know, Missy" 🙄🙄🙄) took it. 🤭

I could have given a shit. Fuck him. And his ego. I will have to say I felt pretty damn vindicated when more than a few of the kids came and thanked me. Where I live the gun culture is strong and a lot of the guys in the class had grown up shooting. They all felt like what the guy was doing was insanely dangerous but were afraid to say anything because their licensure depended on passing this turds class.

I nearly lost my job. And even if I had I don't care. I'm not the kind of person who can stand back and watch while someone else possibly catches a bullet between the eyes because some old man is an idiot ... Or gets beaten ... Or tossed over the edge of a cliff ... 🤷🏻

Even I, who don't even live in a country with many weapons, know that you shouldn't do something like that. That guy should be charged with attempted murder at the very least. What worries me is thinking about how many people he taught might accidentally kill themselves because of him. Irresponsible.

Which is exactly why I acted the way I did. There is no excuse for that level of incompetency.
