There's a YouTuber who I've seen a few videos of for some reason called Jessicur. They mostly post videos on disturbing Internet stuff especially with an obsession with the MAP community. But they have very much vigilante minded fans who love to shut down forums and sites and etc. Which is fine if you're dealing with actual like legit abusers. But I'm afraid they'll find this site and get it shut down. You know?

Idk T*nt*crul got millions of views on his youtube video from a couple years ago and we are still here. I really hope no viral video closes the forum, I feel like people with mental health/life issues should be able to have a space to talk about suicidality without immediately being shut down. And I don't know of any other spaces like that online.

You'd be surprised how much normies are indoctrinated into pro-life BS. Also the reason I use the term MAP just so you know isn't to sanitize anything I'm just an academic nerd and in the psychology world the minor attraction umbrella is used clinically. At least if you're very into abnormal psych and psychology of sex

I know normies are pro-life but I still doubt we'd get the same treatment as pedophiles. People are not that irrational, they just don't want us to die. The site has also dealt with legal issues and journalistic investigations before, wouldn't be the first time people have tried to shut it down.

NYT tried, BBC tried that, UK govt tried that, AFAIR some other govts tried that too and we're still here. Vigilantes can only point a potential problem. Have no real power to remove it. So as long as we keep it legit here, they can't do much.

Haven't watched them, but a forum for predators would be fairly easy to shut down just by baiting various people into doing things like propositioning what they (the predators) think are minors, sending in anonymous tips and reporting the inevitable CSAM a forum like that would share, etc.

Start from the top (highest mods), go to the bottom. Here doesn't exactly work like that. First of all, the population of people here who do illegal things isn't... particularly dense?

Sure some things people buy for CTB are tentatively non-legal, but so is testosterone that cis men use to dope, or the DIY HRT community that has existed for years in transgender history. Hell, most left-leaning low-income people have had to skirt the law in some way like that. It isn't really cracked down on that much.

As for actual illegal stuff, 4Chan would get shut down before we did if we're going by "amount of genuinely fucked up crimes."

They'd have a field day discovering what lingers on F*tlife then.
Vigilante towards the MAP's has been on the rise for a while now, mostly because it's something that sparks universal hatred, obviously deserved, and with such the views and algorithms often push such content out more. I don't think it's necessary bad because nobody else is doing anything about it? Government really can't care. Beautiful example is the US right now. Or Cambodia. Asides the "child protection" laws that are implemented in the UK and being debated in Europe now. But then again, even those have caused obviously lash back from the invasion of privacy and treading on the lines of the freedom and secrecy of speech.
Sasu and the pro-choice community has morals and arguable stand points that can be acknowledged even by people who would be outraged by our point of views on here. Unlike pedophilia which is not excusable, debatable or to be tolerated.

True. They should also seriously consider what they're actually doing when they draw attention to a suicide forum on un-age restricted sites.

Following Tantacrul's video- we had a massive surge in membership and I'd guess the majority of them were young. I believe our mods had an increased problem of (suspected) minors trying to join. The very people Tantacrul claimed he was trying to protect.

So- if they truly believe this is a dangerous and coercive site. Even just a echo chamber that it would be better for depressed people to steer clear of. (Not that I agree with the above...) They really shouldn't be raising awareness of its existence! We pretty much always get a surge in membership following such 'attacks'.
