Gun is in my opinion good but still a lot of gore and some people having to clean up your mess. SN or N are the most peaceful and respectful ways in my opinion because it makes you able to plan and not give random strangers PTSD for the rest of their lives and make them CTB (you can create a Ripple effect with that)

But why should suicide be so unnecessarily painful and horrible. We have already suffered enough in life. I think that the easier the method is to go through with the better. SN does sound quite unpleasant from what I have read but still preferable to many other methods like hanging as hanging sounds risky. N sounds ideal, of course a peaceful exit from this life should be a human right for anyone who wants to leave this world.

Of course not. I cannot convey how stupid I find the suggestion that only some methods of suicide are "real". Also all the other methods listed are way harder on the people around you. Shooting yourself tends to be extremely messy, jumping involves a huge amount of mess and it's in public so there's danger of physically and mentally hurting others. Jumping in front of a train forces someone else to participate in your suicide, which I am personally very against. For some people those might be their only options and I get that, but advocating for methods which have a higher negative impact just for the sake of toxic masculinity or whatever is going on in that suggestion feels cruel.
