Discussion Zip tie method advice?

I tried the zip tie method where I put it around my neck and head but panicked. I was sure my placement was right. Above the Adam's Apple at an angle towards my ears but I panicked once it got fuzzy and right before my ex boyfriend left the drive way I ran to him and cried about how I didn't want to die then ended up oding the next day after he came home but not late enough.

Was this just SI? Or did I do something wrong. I did it tight too and it caused some scarring to cut it off. Also Any other methods?
I did it in sort of a bad mental space. I think it might have been about being alone more than anything. I also thought about our dog. I don't have any of that anymore and I had a resolute to die then and still do now. My only almost 100% successful attempts have been semi accidents when drunk. I intended on dying but didn't think it would happen and did a lot of drugs each time and overdosed. One flat line. Each time I intend to die it either doesn't work at all because it's bunk or I just wake up still high :/

Thinking about combining opioid overdose with another method too. Any ideas? Can't do gun, maybe carbon monoxide

most methods give u that fuzzy feeling and feeling of fear. from bleeding out to carbon monoxide to hanging to sn.

Zip tie method is like partial hanging if I recall correctly

It's more like ligature strangulation. I was considering it at one point but it'd be best to have a zip tie tightening tool. I doubt tightening with just fingers would apply enough pressure.

My ex almost did it himself but he was saved. I wonder how he got to that point. Any chance you're willing in talking?

Use a heavy duty cable tie. They are more difficult to remove.
A hardware store should have them.
Grab the end with pliers for more leverage.

Sounds like si, its a huge pain in the ass tbh. Most people often take substances like certain drugs or alcohols to numb feelings and therefore si too, which explains how your attempts seemed more successful when intoxicated. I hope you manage to find peace soon though
