• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

He also kept insisting that I "need to go to a mental hospital" one time because I'm crazy, and belittled me. He was just laughing at me and saying lol. Treating me like a baby too, he kept telling me stuff like "Lol okay, I'm gonna text your mom and you're gonna go to a mental hospital rn" as I was venting..... I can't explain it all too well, but just being very condescending about the whole thing.

And in this screenshot, how is he going to say "You've dealt with it well", then criticize me for feeling depressed/suicidal after all this traumatic stuff. Huh???? Wow, a person who went through very difficult things feels suicidal a lot . So unexpected. 1000003589

I mean, "crazy" is a derogatory term, which is pretty unfortunate.
But I do get that it is very hard for normies to be sympathetic with suicidal tendencies.
I don't know your full story, but if you went through heavy trauma it's normal that you feel that way. (though it is not necessarily rational, as you are under the spell of depression)

Yeah, the weird thing is that he tried to kill himself 2 months ago. That was his 2nd attempt, and was still suicidal for a while after that. So he's not some misunderstanding normie, I'm not sure why he's judging me for this when he is/has struggled with the same thing before

Well if he has suicidal tendencies himself and calls you "crazy" for having them he is an idiot

Normally, someone who has experienced the same things as you is a bit more empathetic to your situation. It sounds to me like he doesn't respect you and is playing the "my pain is deeper and more real than yours and you have no clue " game.

It's a statistical fact that men are the biggest contributors to actual CTB in the world so I can't really play devils advocate as I believe that men actually do have it worse to some extent. but that is here nor there.

He's failing at one aspect of being in a relationship and that's being supportive. That's not nessessarily a deal breaker for most people being there are ways to cope but if that is really important to you then you might have to look elsewhere.

But like... it's a contradiction. Because if you're really suicidal then what's even the point of being with someone else.

So I guess just do whatever feels right to you even if it's not the right thing to do.

It's probably either him projecting HARD (I've had experiences with selfish people who basically force "healing" on others so they feel less alone when they take that journey themselves), or he already wanted to dump you and is just trying to get you to take that first step because he won't.

Either way, screw that guy

it seems to me like he may be having a joke at his own expense, rather than straight out plead with you to keep living

the first parts seemed very caring, so i am not sure why he would turn 180 degrees just like that . . . i would think he is joking about if you wanted to become crazy like him, not suggesting that you are already there

Oh my god, stop talking to this guy, even if only for the fact he mockingly threatened to tell your mother & get you institutionalized.
