• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I always thought holidays are stupid, even as a kid, and still don't understand any of them. Every day is the same to me, I never felt the need to celebrate one day more than the other which makes all the other days in comparison to it just worse in my opinion. And I also don't like being gifted things or having to gift anyone anything.
I get that. Well, I liked holidays as a kid, but now it's just another day of a year, just like people on this thread have been saying.

Having to be with family for long periods of time is a bit meh as I don't really feel like I belong but I get free presents (tho I don't know what I want for this year) and money and tasty food so I feel more positive towards Christmas more than negative. Maybe its silly seeing Christmas lights before Halloween or even in August but I think thats just funny. Some of the decorations outside can be pretty and I like putting up the Christmas tree in our house. I can understand if some people do dislike or hate it, especially if you feel lonely or feel like its forced on people.
I agree with this one 100%.
I'm not christian so it's uncomfortable to do the christmas dinner thing with reading the bible and other traditions. But it's manageable if it's just my parents and sister, at least I don't have to go with them to visit my grandma where all family comes and it's so loud. I had to attend my boyfriends family dinner twice and it was awful lol. I don't care about decorations so if I had my own home there'd be no christmas tree or anything. The presents are a little troublesome cause I don't have much money and feel bad when people want to get me something fancy. Only thing good about it is having a couple days off from work
I get that. I am from semi-religious family, I never got into that. We read the bible, not something I really enjoy or care but for my parents it's a tradition so it's fine. Decorations aren't really for me either, same with presents. I get uncomfortable getting those because all I can give is something small. Well, maybe I just should stop caring so much, if someone wants give me something, then so it be.
