You'll Know When It's Time

You'll know when it's time when the world feels gray
The happiness once there, was never meant to stay
Take a deep breath, now's your chance
Give this pathetic, cruel, unforgiving world...
not another glance

It's over now, the familiar blackness
Overtakes you
You experienced it only once before
Before you could remember...
That was the darkness.

It rushes again
Peace without peace
Heartbeat...
Gradually...
Stops.

Their laughs, their smiles, they're not the same
Your friends think it's another silly game
No thrashing, no crying
All is said and done
Who knew that impending death...
Wouldn't be fun...
But calm?

Not just gray, not just calm
The pain inside passes the joy outside
It
All
Keeps
Tumbling
Down…

But this is it, isn't it?
Your fingers trembled, your lip bit
But what other option was there?
When you couldn't love,
When life didn't care?
You're leaving.
You're going to fly
Angels, darkness, born again…
All you can do beforehand…

Is say
