would use part of the money to buy a good place for my mom...

But ultimately - lack of money is not the issue in my life and even if I was truly rich, my problems would still persist and I'd still suffer.

Money can't buy you happiness - it can only calm your nerves by paying for basic needs which you don't have to worry about then.

Yeah, I feel like lack of money is one of the biggest things leading me to CTB atm so with it I would at least be able to live comfortably for a while. Maybe I'd invest some of it to make more money. Idk, I just feel like I'd be happier if I had some money.

Ngl, 90% of my problems would be solved with 1 million. I work with people who are well-off and it makes me kinda sick when I see them casually complain about stupid things while also talking about traveling to Europe or taking cruises. It's like they don't know what to even spend money on. They throw it away while the rest of us crawl on the floor, struggling.

I can tell you first hand money will not fix you. I have more money than I know what to do with (I'm not a millionaire though) and it only sugar coats things. It also opens your life up to a whole new slew of problems. Fake friends and toxic family members wanna get real cozy with you. There's pro's to it though it allows you to take care of others and fix 99% of life's problems for yourself and others. Not much it can do for Chronic depression and wanting to CTB though unfortunately.

that kind of money would definitely delay me for sure. I'd be able to support myself and leave with my friends. I'd be able to do a lot of fun stuff, hell I'd probably be going on multiple digital shopping sprees. that being said though I don't think that money alone can stop me from cbt'ing or at the very least self-destructing. I feel like eventually some of the money would go into a viable method that suits me. I think I'll always have these problems no matter how much money I'd manage to get my hands on.

The million you will get you need to make two parts one that will be portfolio based investment and the other will be a cash fund that you will use to pay yourself a salary from it and expand the other fund overtime. The portfolio based investment will include investment in government bonds, euro bonds (bonds denominated in a currency other than home country's), stock, major economies stocks, make sure to build it in a way that will give you some dividend based income off your securities. Lastly, you will invest just 20,000 in super risky things such as crypto currencies or you can go up to 100,000. Use any kind of proceeds from to pay off any debt and keep living your shitty lifestyle after a couple of years you might leave your job and do things as you please without breaking the bank. Stay away from gambling, addiction or manage it and relationships that will take half of what you have. From the cash fund you will pay yourself an amount and never spend everything rapidly. After a few years you will be better off than a lot of people in your social circle.
