also, posting the following to remind myself/help me remember the difference between this thread "word association game" and the other, simply "word association":



My read is that ironically, this "game" is more strict than "Word association" which only says:

Make an association. Pretty much the first word or image that comes to mind when you see the previous word.

i.e. literally anything you think of when reading the previous word, vs. something that's actually associated with it.
e.g. "cat" here followed by "purr" better than "lion" which would fit the other game better
