I've donated before, but I'm not healthy enough to really care a lot anymore. I'm way too detached from what one would call "reality".

I AM people in need.

I'm on disability and rely on the foodbank, soup kitchens, church handouts, and borrowing money from my landlady just to have food all month long. There is no money to donate.
