• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I don't know where to post this, but it's really bothering me. As a social worker I did everything for my clients. Now that I need surgery I need to go back and forth with the insurance company and the secretary who just needs to send them a simple god damn mother fucking letter to get it approved. I don't know if this is about money or she just doesn't want to be bothered with it, but its fucked up. I spent a thousand dollars and was self pay to see this doctor until he brought up surgery. Just because I became disabled and have shitty insurance that your office accepts with only one exception, it's as if I have a better chance of going to outer space. She's telling me that I have to prove to the insurance why I can't do it closer to home as I traveled halfway across this country to this specialist. Are you fucking kidding me? When I called the insurance they just said the letter has to write that he was the first to diagnose this and offer treatment first. She didn't return my call yesterday and I really feel like having it out with her, but I need them. I know this is a rant, but what do you guys think about this situation?

It is better to yell here than at the person you need to do something for you.

If you can present yourself as somewhat retarded it may be helpful. Sometimes people in position of control like to think themselves superior. It also allows you to be a bit of a pest so you can nag a little more frequently.

This made me chuckle! The combo of being so un-PC and also being really on point!! Playing dumb can work wonders :pfff:
