Seems to have unnecessary obstacles compared to say, generally always available options like jumping off a bridge over a river.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Feeling regret has nothing to do with the chosen method though...Welcome (btw, I'm surprised gun method isn't mentioned as much... tho the point and click nature (I'm simplifying) makes it too fast for a goodbye thread sometimes)
Indeed, I was surprised when this "SN" thing was discussed as far back as 2019. I didn't look further into it because it seemed to be some chemical (and I didn't have access to my bank account yet!).
It's claimed to be this simple, nearly painless process, but from @2ndme's I feel regretful post (after taking it in 2024), the reality set in... it might not always be the happy-go-lucky way out.
true.Because
Feeling regret has nothing to do with the chosen method though...
I actually think SI with SN is worse than jumping. With jumping it's just that split second it takes to leap off. Where as with SN you have to sit through minutes of discomfort/potential panic.true.
Also... guns aren't easy to get in most countries (and maybe the SI of hanging, jumping, etc is more than drinking certain compounds)
interesting. I'd have thought the opposite, where SN is a few sips of a salty drink, while jumping is overcoming the innate fear of heights.I actually think SI with SN is worse than jumping. Yeah like how do they just sit there, let the poison take them and resist calling for help?interesting. I'd have thought the opposite, where SN is a few sips of a salty drink, while jumping is overcoming the innate fear of heights.
But definitely, the several minute window to regret the decision (but emergency services can fix the issue if called ASAP, but then there'd be possible ward admission), is not an easy ride, compared to gravity winning in 2s.
not sure, either they'd not consider emergency services being available, or they'd try to distract themselves, etc. Good question.Yeah like how do they just sit there, let the poison take them and resist calling for help?
You're aussie yeah? How did your SN get intercepted? Where was it from?I think drinking a poison is much easier than jumping from a height, even if there's discomfort after. Isn't that obvious?
My SN got intercepted, but I probably could have done it. Hanging OTOH has scared me straight. I tried so many times and couldn't do it.
American. The site I used was from Poland, I think. It might have been Germany. FedEx contacted me when it hit customs and wanted me to fill out some form for toxic substances. I just gave up and let them not send it.You're aussie yeah? How did your SN get intercepted? Where was it from?
Ohhh! Fair, I would have let it go in that scenario too.American. The site I used was from Poland, I think. It might have been Germany. FedEx contacted me when it hit customs and wanted me to fill out some form for toxic substances. I just gave up and let them not send it.
In the footages made from people drinking SN, that's it - they drink and lay on their beds, some vomitting and showing problems of coordenation until get uncounscious.Yeah like how do they just sit there, let the poison take them and resist calling for help?
I just imagine myself drinking it then immediately running and screaming for help lol they're so braveIn the footages made from people drinking SN, that's it - they drink and lay on their beds, some vomitting and showing problems of coordenation until get uncounscious.
And to reinforce what people have already written, SN popularity is due to its accessibility. In places like where I live - Brazil - it's cheap and easy to buy.
