I have attempted partial hanging three times, but I never lost consciousness. Why can't I just succeed?

I was sitting down in a half sitting position with my legs stretched and leaning forward, it was really difficult to breathe, and it felt like my head was going to explode. But I didn't lose consciousness no matter how hard I tried.

From my experience, there isn't really a "sweet spot." It's just the amount of force you're putting on your neck isn't enough. The carotid arteries take more force to be restricted than the jugulars do, which is why a lot of people have trouble with the "head exploding" feeling. I'm not going with partial because of this, my full suspension attempts have made me pass out way, way easier. My advice here is to use a thinner rope, not too thin that it'll break though. Also, don't lean yourself into it. Jump and put more force into it, it'll make you pass out easier.
