So: I joined Binance! (I saw the p2p section). Ok, but: Does Binance company makes this transaction safe?(me buying from some of the guys listed?). Does Binance guarantee the transaction? Or do I need to get further information from the p2p name by myself?
And after I bought the BTC, which wallet do you recommend? Or: how many time can Ikeep this at Binance before paying "the seller"? Thank you! :)

Buying from the Binance App. Isn't "Binance" the exchange?
To get the bitcoins Isn't it the process:
1- To Download the Binance App (to get registered properly);
2- To choose in the P2P section someone with the right amount of BTC I want, and who accepts the payment method I have to provide him (PayPal, Credit card… etc);
3- Then I bought my BTC and it will be stored at my Binance Wallet, right?
4- Then, I stay with this amount of BTC I bought at this Binance Wallet for 2 or 3 days, and meanwhile I contact the seller (who sells whatever I want to buy), and as he sends me by email the amount he charges (…) (oh, Now I stuck. What will he send me? ) But just confirm if the process will be like that or (…) what? Thank you :)

Don't worry, Binance has "lock-in" process that protect both sides, the buyer and the seller.
Also, Binance verifies carefully for those who want to become P2P merchant.
If anything wrong happens, you can always report the transaction to Binance authority.
You can use any wallet you want, for me I use https://www.blockchain.com/

I'm a bit irked that Binance doesn't provide a customer support hotline.., especially since tickets take forever to receive responses, and the act of me entering a completely valid credit card keeps redirecting me to a blank page once I hit 'submit'.

I use Chrome but I do have multiple adblockers enabled. That's a good suggestion - I will try disabling them and see what reaction I get

If Bitcoin didn't fluctuate in value so much I'd feel much more comfortable with using it to purchase N, but the thought of losing my money because I can't immediately pay seriously turns me off.

I'm not rich. I only have one shot at this and I want to get it right.
I've been involved with crypto for five years and have tried the bigger exchanges (Coinbase, Coinmama, XCoins, Geminii,) as well as the ATM type kiosks, and the easiest, cheapest way I've found is using the Cash App (Available for Android from Google Play.) AFter you link your checking account and they verify your information (I think it took a day or two) you're good to go. You purchase the crypto and it remains in your Cash App account until you send it ......wherever (wallet, vendor, etc. ) I'd avoid Coinbase - the sign-up/verification is very involved and the last crypto I purchased there took 14 days before it was available to withdraw from my account. Electrum is a good wallet but only supports Bitcoin (BTC) . I recently started using Exodus (on both Android and PC Desktop) , which is very user friendly and supports a wide variety of currencies. For conversion of any type of crypto to another, Changelly.com is easy to use and has a fantastic support staff. Good Luck.

I need one that will let me purchase at least 1,000 USD of Bitcoin after first registering as a new user, and then let me transfer it to my Electrum wallet. Were there transfer fees?

I am such a novice. I need the easiest, most intuitive conversion service that will easily let me obtain BTC to buy N from D.
Withdraw cash from the bank, then go to a BTC atm and exchange for coin. Just make an electrum wallet on your phone. (Keep the seed safe and secret) This is the most stealth. Purchasing via exchange platform leaves a paper trail.

Thank you! This is exactly what I need… but unfortunately I don't have an android… only an iPhone. There's always something that gets in the way. :aw:

Are BTC ATMs a common thing? I'm not from the city so I don't know if I could access one that easily. Do BTC ATMs only work if you have a wallet app on your phone? Mine is on my desktop.

Still wondering about Bitcoin ATMs. Does your wallet need to be on your iPhone in order for it to work?

I'm pretty sure both Cash App and Exodus are available from the Apple store. Also, there's an Android app called Bitcoin ATM Map (avail at Google Play) - that tells you where bitcoin ATM's are near you. The benefits of using an ATM are that the transaction is anonymous, unfortunately, you pay for that in terms of fees because ATM's are the most expensive in my experience. Two other options for buying Bitcoin with cash are WallofCoins.com and LocalBitcoins.com but both require completion of 3 or 4 steps that are a total pain in the a**. Good luck!

I won't do it by Binance p2p because I saw several people complaining about it about getting scammed in their p2p transactions and never getting any answer from BINANCE. I'll try LocalBitcoin…

I downloaded Edge to use Bitcoin. It seems Simplex is the only company/option to transfer money into my wallet. They continue to decline the transaction, they refuse to tell me why and are no help.

Is Coinbase an App like Edge or something? It's not an option on my Bitcoin page.

Also a pal told me there is only one source for N. Why do I see people on this post/comments saying they need differing cash amounts to buy it?

I'm super pissed about this. I had a feeling shit would not work or be really really difficult.

Please help!

I use Kraken
It was straightforward for a person like me who has never used such sites before. But when you add a debit or credit card to your account to buy currency, they put a three day hold on the account before you can transfer money to another person - which is like a security thing or something.
I bought Euros, transferred them to Bitcoin, then transferred the Bitcoin to US dollars as this was the most stable currency, then waited the three days and converted the US dollars to Monero which is what the buyer wanted. I was a complete Luddite in terms of cryptocurrency but worked it out.

1- Create an account at Binance.
2- Put some money into this binance account. You can put money by paying bank tickets (so you don't need to put your credit card from your regular bank account, for example)…
3- Once you have your money inside the Binance there will be a button to buy your BTC directly from Binance! Done!
4-These amount of BTC will appear there as a 'wallet' (inside Binance)…
5-When you handled this part you can think about a private Wallet (like 'Trust Wallet app'), and move your BTC. At this app there will be an option "receive" and "send". By clicking in receive you will basically bring your BTC from Binance to this wallet. And by the function "send" you will pay 'whatever' you want to buy(…) All this process is pretty much about copying and pasting QR codes.
6-Think about steps.
7-The last step will be asking 'someone's wallet address to send your BTC…

*** Don't buy from other people! (Even inside this platform).
***Try to click at the "lite" version on your Cel so it is easier to handle..

At step 3,
thanks to the lonely for this recap.Where monero would be among these steps?LIKE wrennie, im noob to crypto

After step 3 and Bitcoin (BTC) has been acquired, trade this pair in order to buy Monero (XMR)

More straight-forward than Binance, you've got Kraken
There, you can directly buy XMR against EURO and USD

(Or their simplified trading interface can be used instead of this advanced one)

I saw people say above but yeah to reiterate, XMR is the standard now and I personally avoid anyone who still wants to use BTC. Localmonero is the easiest way to get direct XMR, I know OP got BTC and yeah conversion without some kind of KYC measures is not practical. However, I used to use morphtoken.com for smaller conversions reliably so if you'd like to avoid KYC and hassle you could give that a go (though even if their limit will let you convert it all at once seriously don't attempt to do so). Also lastly with the amount you are gonna send being fairly high you might want to wash your XMR a little before final send off.

Also maybe it's changed since I last used it but Kraken exchange was so annoying to use and not beginner friendly at all.

How I would go about it: use ANY official bitcoin service.
Than make anonymous wallet using Tor browser, these will have no link to your real name or identity, watch for scams and use reviewed wallets. You will have you wallet with password and some type of verification with string of words or numbers. No phone numbers or emails. These are safe and more or less incognito.
Than send btc from your official wallet to secret incognito wallet. You can also send It to another wallet for more security, with each time being harder to localise.
Than you can send btc to whoever you want.

What does KYC stand for?

And I truly don't understand what "washing your coins" entails. I have a Cake Wallet.

KYC = Know Your Customer
it's the identifying customer verification undertook at regulated exchanges
The ideal way is to get Monero peer to peer

On the subject of washing Monero, in practice it's a simple technique which consists of adding more transactions towards yourself in order to dillute the degree of propabilities pointing out in your direction

Aren't there transaction fees for every transfer though? I don't think I'll have enough money to go that route...
