So have mine. I've been looking to connect with others for a long time to no avail. Both "normies" and people like us having a hard time, and to no avail. I've tried nearly everything. School, work, meetups, couchsurfing events. For me nothing worked. So unfortunately I don't have an answer for you.

Uh....here? Used to be livejournal but I haven't been on there in years and you could only say so much before people would get "concerned" and want to do things like call the cops on you or report you to LJ so yeah...I don't know how to do the "reddit" thing so I don't know anything about reddit groups.
