My only concern with screaming without any muffling going on is the possibility that others might be around (even if it's a remote location) and will call the cops because they think someone's in danger.

In rollercoasters. People hearing do not mind and I get to scream my lungs out. I hope you live near one so you can try this!

Anywhere, just a little scream when I'm on my own, but only extremely rarely, when something triggers a really bad memory or feeling. I wish I had a place where I could just scream, not sure what good it would do, but other people scream all the time. They scream at their kids, which is.. sad to me.
