I haven't been to any kind of doctor or therapist in an obscene amount of time... When I was younger though I was diagnosed with depression, nothing else.

Don't know all the technical terms on the top of my head but
  • Autism
  • Gender Dysphoria
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Some sort of eating disorder
I also have a bunch of undiagnosed problems that probably result from mental illness

Anxiety and depression, but other diagnoses are pretty unclear and undecided. I've gotten a pretty long list from different professionals, each one with a different take on my mental health. So I'm sticking with the ones they can all agree on.

Gender dysphoria, although I still haven't been "diagnosed" with it because the healthcare system in the UK is so underfunded that I've been on the waiting list for an appointment with a specialist for nearly two years now :')

I have a feeling that I have PTSD too (from being forced to go through male puberty), but again it's hard to get a diagnosis for this stuff when the NHS gatekeeps and makes you wait years for it.

I probably have major depressive disorder too, although the psychologists always insisted that it was just dysphoria.

I feel none of them are really accurate, although I do want to take the MMPI-2 or MCMI-3 for my info. But BIpolar 1 with Psychotic Features, on another occasion Major Depressive Disorder with Psychotic features, on another occasion OCD was suggested only, on another occasion PTSD was suggested, doctors at a hospitalization said I have ASD-1 with possibly schizophrenia in the next few years.

The question is in the title. Mine is psychosis. I feel persecuted, mainly by my parents and psychiatry. It's a horrible feeling, like people are evil. I hear voices.

Does anyone else share my diagnosis?
Id just like to comment, Ive never been diagnosed with psychosis, and I whole heartedly feel most ppl are evil. (Not here, but in day to day life)
The head psychiatrist at the psych ward didn't really find anything "wrong" with me (as I already had told them), but he had to diagnose me with something, so ended up with "Agitated depression". Never really understod this diagnose, even using Google.
I like it!

Personally, I don't like being given mental health diagnoses. They are labels to try and simplify what is a complex subject. I find such labels to be demeaning and engender discrimination.
I'm me. I have physical and mental and emotional issues like everyone else to a greater or lesser degree. I'm not a disease to be cured. I'm me.

Recovered from psychotic depression...somehow. Depression part is in remission, and psychosis bit has disappeared and been gone for over a year, though I do fear it coming back should major depression start to ever flare up again. Right now, mainly just undiagnosed PTSD and diagnosed GAD.

Fuck diagnoses. Everybody has mental illness in one form or another. No one human is perfect.

The social workers I'm dealing with think I have Antisocial Personality Disorder and some minor Aspergers so a bit of autism. The ASPD diagnoses is simply because I don't agree with how modern day society works, which is funny. When you go against your government, they fuck you and tell you you're a sociopath or some bull shit. Coincidence?

How do they diagnose someone with something? Tests?

They ask you questions, see how you talk, analyze your past behaviour and actions, etc. Basically from conversation. They can also do a brain scan.

Sounds invasive. And what if youre just going through something and upset. Seems like itd be easy for them to get it wrong.

No clue, but they are pretty smart people and well educated. I am speaking to legal social workers as I am in legal trouble. They are very invasive, and the cops have stolen my computer and phone so they literally took a giant dildo and invaded my asshole with it
