Whats the deal with SN?

Because when it first emerged as a viable suicide method it was stupidly accessible. When there was an online N source that dominated the forum too, but that source dried up.

It's been the subject of debate, sometimes pretty acrimonious, since the beginning. Anyone who says it's always been universally acclaimed is either being disingenuous or simply missed the many threads revolving around the merits of SN.

There is a general tendency in people to prefer poisoning and new people in pain and distress often come with the singular focus of obtaining a method.

Do you know when N stopped being accessible? There was a suicide of a woman who had terrible akathisia from benzo w/d, went to a cornfield and did it there in 2017. They said it was the most "peaceful" suicide they had ever seen. I have been wondering for a long while if it was from N but wasn't sure how she could have gotten it even back then.

You can get brain damage... I've read a few accounts plus people getting horrendous tinnitus and other nasty organs damage effects from even less than the recommended amounts. This is part of why I am seriously reconsidering.

For years and years N was available online in some form (Chinese powder versus Mexican veterinary N trafficked by a series of sellers) up until middle-late 2022. And I guess you could always procure it yourself in Latin America from either naive or indifferent pharmacies. Which I guess remains an option.

The less than recommended doses are still plenty toxic. The recommended doses are supposed to be overkill. All overdoses and asphyxiation can fuck up your insides. That's why it's important to be thorough and careful. Like I said I'm not sure I would advise someone with your kind of stomach issues to ingest an irritating substance like SN anyways.

So yeah, she probably did use N.... I'm very limited and my physical and family condition overall is getting worse and worse. I feel f'd.

No, it's SN for Sodium Nitrite (NaNO2).

But I can't help but get annoyed that people treat SN like its god's answer to suffering itself like come on ya'know?

Choosing a method is always personal and everyone has their reasons for choosing SN after thorough research and weighing the pros and cons of it. Without looking in detail in to the SN method and coming to a personal conclusion that it is a God sent ultimate side effect free golden way out is a very dengerous habit and someone else has paid the price for it in a bad way. Don't repeat their mistake.

Nitrate or Nitrite yeah Nitrite is the one usually mistaken but can see why. People have mixed them up on here many times. Including me but I never planned or even thought of using it. Better ways to ctb than that for me. Like I said I have my Nembutal and a few other things already given to me and I wont worry if mine works I know it will. Gotten from Medical Dr and even if it doesn't I am going to die from terminal illness anyway. Wish you luck but been here on this site a while never really got into the SN stuff only other methods. You seem to be the one whose opinion differs from the great majority here, and honestly, you seem to be the one who's trying to force your controversial opinion over that of other people.

I kinda feel the same, although it's easier said than done if people here developed regimens using RC drugs we'd soon realise SN really isn't special but the predictability of SN is probably the main reason it's so popular though i think the fact that pro lifers can't get dark web RC vendors taken down the same way they get SN sellers taken down makes RCs far better in the long term as every SN vendor has their hey day just to end up behind bars or harassed by media

When I first came here I wondered the same thing.
But I didn't know what they were speaking of.
I just knew it seemed to be the usual topic and choice.
When I came back I didn't even know I came back for that purpose.
Like many things in the world where you have to choose the lesser of evils.
I decided maybe this could be a better option for me.
My life became so overwhelmingly stressful that became my only and last option for true freedom and a more reliable source.
Had I known years prior I definitely would of tried it.
It's as close to perfect as possible.
I'd rather do that then trying to jump from a high building.
I can be at home in my space.
If I fail which I'm constantly praying I don't I can always try again with that method.
I've come to realize it's hype provides option.
You truly get to pick the time and place and get more chances if you do fail.
Isn't that ironically what life is about.
Choice, options and chances.
Now there is something that provides the same for death.
Seems a pretty good hype to me.
