• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Losing more of myself every day.

All problems including financial issues, health issues, mental health issues, bad relationships, bad family, etc. If you woke up unburdened by all of that what are some things you would do?

For me:
  • Go on a run (cause I can just imagine myself running out of my house going "yippee!" and running around like a crazy person tbh)
  • Dance around to music!!
  • Host a house party and invite all my friends and loved ones.
  • Donate a shit load of money to charity and then go work my ass off for a charity.
  • Create so much art!!!
  • Fuck it I'm going to Disneyland!
  • I would travel the world and see places I've always wanted to see like Ireland, Istanbul in Turkey, Jerusalem, Italy, Prince Edward Island in Canada, New Zealand, Kyoto in Japan... So many places
  • Go date šŸ˜‚
  • Eat ALL the food!
  • Go to every damn cow sanctuary and cat cafe and puppy daycare and love on all of them.
Like the world will still be horrible but I'll have felt like I was able to indulge in the illusion of happiness for a time.

I'd also go for a run, I love exercising but I've been sick for so long :( I'd put myself out there and do hobbies and join clubs and try to make friends and travel and stuff

You know it's kinda funny. I used to hate running for physical education classes as a teen. Now I'm just like man that's the first thing I would do.

Oh boy...

1. Propose to my girlfriend of 6 years and marry her. I'd be satisfied with just this, everything else is extra. I know I can't have this, so this is the main thing.
2. Finally go and get my driver's license.
3. Start dieting and going to the gym to get in shape.
4. Finish my mortuary apprenticeship and find a quiet job as a mortician. Master the trade.
5. Learn absolutely everything there is to know about death. Just for fun, go to university and get degrees in linguistics, history and literature. If I still have time and motivation afterwards, look into math and physics.
6. Move to a nice and secluded spot in the countryside.
7. Hire house servants to do everything for me so I can focus exclusively on hobbies.
8. Study esotericism, mysticism and folklore to exhaustion.
9. Become a musician and an artist, and finally make all of my ideas a reality.
10. Turn my friend and I's passion project into a proper board game and publicize it.
11. Learn about spiritualism and start meditating.
12. Start doing a sport, preferably fencing or HEMA.
13. Commission a set of authentic plate armor and medieval weaponry.
14. Pay for all of my best friend's expenses so he can get away from his abusive family and cure his chronic disabilities.
15. While I'm at it, pay for the expenses of everyone that I know and remotely care about.
16. Experiment with fashion, get a proper wardrobe of clothes and outfits that I like.
17. Become an eccentric and stop talking to people.
18. Write a book, why not?
19. Running out of ideas here... Err... I guess find some places to travel to? I'm not very big on travel, but I see its benefits.
20. Question what the fuck caused all of this to happen. Am I a Boltzmann brain after all?

I'm currently working on a lot of these, actually. Once I accomplish all of these goals, especially the education-related ones, I'll just mess around with my wife until she dies, and then I'll kill myself too. If she magically doesn't die, then I'll gladly live forever. Nothing left to stick around for after that; I'd have accomplished everything I ever wanted to do in my life and mastered the mental. I imagine I'd develop more exotic tastes and interests overtime, though, so it's hard to say if I'd ever reach that point.

I would think I'd gone mad!

I'd likely be much better at my job though. I'd likely pursue that again with greater vigour, give my all to it and be exploited until I died.

That's maybe my biggest obstacle- I can't even see a best case scenario being worth the effort.

To try to be optimistic though- with greater confidence and fitness, maybe I'd try more things. Visit more places. Swim in a lake, explore the coastline via canoe, walk around the whole UK coastline- I love all things water.

I suppose though- even if I was 100% fit and optimistic- I don't think this world is set up to give me what I want. Even the people I've most admired for being successful haven't got entirely what they wanted. Most don't have a good work/ life balance. They've succeeded in their careers because they gave their all to them and ultimately- it was usually to make someone else richer! I'm not sure I could un-see that reality.

Just wanting some peace

That doesn't even make sense to me as for me existence is the problem, I see existence as the most terrible, tragic and cruel mistake that just causes all this dreadful harm and suffering and no matter what I'll only hope for non-existence, for me ceasing to exist is the positive solution to find peace from the suffering, torture and evil of existing, existence to me is an abomination that only ever tortures existing beings.

I find it so deeply undesirable to exist in every way possible, to be conscious in this existence is just the most terrible burden and for me every second is torture to be conscious, I just find it so terrible how humans impose something as evil and harmful as existence that only ever causes existing beings to suffer with no limit as to how much agony one can feel and the suffering and torture of existing is endless, all I want is to erase this existence, I find it so terrifying how a human can be tortured in this existence for decades longer just to face the agony of old age.

I would still work towards ending my life. Good life, bad life, it does not matter to me. I do not want to live anymore.
