Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Obviously I know it's hard to say for sure since it's deadly but like would it feel like just falling asleep or?

I've heard it can be painful, people talk about taking painkillers along with it.

I think the only things that would be like just falling asleep would be opiates overdose, like morphine, heroin and such.

There are mixed experiences. There are some people who report side effects but an overall peaceful experience, and others who report a traumatic experience that left them deterred from the method (as @Kayla's own experience is testament to). The most commonly reported side effects are nausea, vomiting, dizziness, lethargy, shortness of breath, and convulsions/seizure/a coma state. As @ZwartHartje said, if you just wanted the feeling of falling asleep to death, you'd probably have to go with opioids or an anesthetic (which both can be difficult to obtain).

The thing about SN is that there's a lot of variance in how people experience it, so ymmv. It's possible you will lose consciousness quickly, before anything scary occurs to you. It's also possible you will feel like you're slowly suffocating over the course of thirty minutes or even longer.

No, it doesn't quite feel like just falling asleep. There is a headache, which can be alleviated with painkiller and likelihood of vomiting, even if finding and taking an anti-emetic substance to prevent it. StrawberryPanic in Brazil video recorded her sodium nitrite suicide in a livestream. She smiled after she had ingested SN, knowing what she had done. Aside from some furrowing of her brow as she encountered difficulty in breathing, it seemed peaceful right up to her loosing consciousness, when the camera dropped out of her hand. Getting seizures will be OK, I think, so we know we are about to die.

As something I think we transgirls would like, she proudly showed her bluish fingertips and nails to the camera, confirming she had cyanosis due to less oxygen getting into her blood. Some females planning CTB with SN have expressed an intention to wear matching blue make-up for this reason.

If you can access SN, good for you, as I cannot, so will CTB some other way, dressed and made up for the occasion and wearing perfume to boost my confidence, but I won't be afraid. I think it is easier for transgirls to CTB this way, and for some biological females too, I have discovered. Some have stressed doing their nails for CTB, also two young women in France and Netherlands did so when they were euthanized.
